Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy Program Agreement
By enrolling in Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy, you are agreeing to accept all parts of this Program Agreement. Thus, if you do not agree to the Program Agreement provided below, do not enroll into Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy.
Please note that a signed copy of this agreement will be required immediately upon enrolling. Failing to sign a copy of this agreement after enrolling as a student of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy could result in termination of your status as a student.
INTRODUCTION
By signing this Program Agreement, you acknowledge and accept that we (“we” referring to the creator of, mentors within, and practitioners of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™):
are not medically qualified
are not a substitute for advice from a qualified medical provider
recommend that you consult a physician or other healthcare provider before making any changes to diet, exercise, lifestyle, or supplements
do not warrant the accuracy of any information provided
are not liable for any losses you may suffer by relying on our advice
are not a covered or regulated entity or a business associate of a covered entity under HIPAA
By providing your electronic signature after enrollment and/or by receiving instruction and advice from us, you indicate your agreement to these terms.
PROGRAM PREREQUISITES
Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy is a program created specifically for healthcare professionals, such as:
Nurses (RN, LPN, NP)
Respiratory Therapists
Pharmacists
Physician’s Assistants
This is not an entry-level program. We do not cover the foundations of human physiology, which is required for a complete understanding of material covered in Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy. You will be required to share proof of your education immediately upon enrolling.
If you do not have a background in healthcare, but have received education in healthcare-required prerequisites (Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, etc), or have a healthcare background other than one of the aforementioned fields, and feel you would be a good fit for Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy, please reach out to us at hello@integrativemetabolicwellness.com.

YOUR ROLE AS AN IMW PRACTITIONER
Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy is not an accredited program and, upon graduation, you will receive a certification in Integrative Metabolic Wellness™. The Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Certification does not allow you to practice medicine, nor does it allow you to give medical advice. Please see the Certification section below for the specifics on what this Certification allows.
As an Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Practitioner you:
do not diagnosis or treat any disease
utilize laboratory tests for educational and research purposed only and not for the purpose of diagnosing or treating any specific medical conditions
will refer your clients to a licensed healthcare provider for any medical interpretation or medical diagnosis, and for any medical opinion or possible need for medical treatment
will remain in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and agencies regarding the scope of nutrition, health coaching, and consulting practices, including the use of nutritional supplements
recognize that a violation of these terms shall be determined a breech of this agreement and suspension of an IMW Practitioner’s privileges.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy, in addition to the wellness-related training, is designed to provide you the tools you need to succeed in your own business. However, your success in business is entirely up to you. By enrolling in Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy, you are personally responsible for your choices, actions and results, now and in the future. You accept full responsibility for the consequences of your use, or non-use, of any information provided on or through Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy, and you agree to use your own judgment and due diligence before implementing any idea, suggestion or recommendation from IMW Academy to your life or business.
Should you choose to begin a business after completion of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Graduation, you acknowledge that you are responsible for learning and complying with all local, state, and federal laws related to your business. Laws differ by area, and as such, you are responsible for ensuring you are not in violation of such laws.
NO GUARANTEES
The role of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy is to support and assist you in reaching your own goals, but your success depends primarily on your own effort, motivation, commitment and follow-through. I cannot predict and I do not guarantee that you will attain a particular result, and you accept and understand that results differ for each individual. Each individual’s results depend on his or her unique background, dedication, desire, motivation, actions, and numerous other factors. You fully agree that there are no guarantees as to the specific outcome or results you can expect from using the information you receive through Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy.
EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES
We will provide our services to you with reasonable care and skill. But we will make no other warranty, express or implied, with respect to these services. All other warranties are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We make no warranty as to the accuracy of the laboratory test results we receive.
We make no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the quality or effectiveness of any diagnosis, apparatus, treatment, or product. In no event will we be liable for any physical or mental injury, or any negative side effects, that may arise from the use of any such diagnosis, apparatus, treatment or product.
We believe that the information we provide, including that on our websites, brochures, flyers, and information packers, is accurate, but we cannot guarantee such accuracy. We therefore make no warranty as to the accuracy of that information, and it should not be relied upon as being correct, complete or accurate. It is your responsibility to verify such matters independently from primary sources of information, through your own independent research, and by taking specific professional advice.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
If you rely on, buy or use a product or therapy, you do so at your own risk. Each person is different, and the way someone reacts to a product or therapy may be significantly different from another. We cannot predict how you may react to any particular product or therapy.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law, we exclude:
any and all liability in contract, tort (including negligence), breech of statutory duty or otherwise for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, losses, claims, damages, expenses or proceedings (including but not limited to loss of profits and wasted management time) incurred or suffered by you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with our services, including but not limited to any loss, damage, or expense arising from any defect, error, imperfection, fault, mistake or inaccuracy with the information or advice we provide;
any and all liability for injury or loss arising out of the use of, or reliance on, the laboratory results and/or dietary, supplement and lifestyle suggestions we may provide;
any and all liability for injury or loss arising from any product or treatment you may choose to take;
any and all liability for any failure to identify any medical condition or disease. You understand and agree that this is not the purpose of our services, nor is it the purpose of any services you choose to provide. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss of data, income of profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
By using this website and any website or service provided by or associated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™, you agree to absolve the owner of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ of any liability or loss that you or any other person may incur from use of the information, products or materials that you request or receive through any website associated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™. You agree that the owner of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ will not be liable to you, or to any other individual, company or entity, for any type of damages, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, equitable or consequential loss or damages, for use of or reliance on this website or any website or services associated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™. You agree that the owner of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ does not assume liability for accidents, delays, injuries, harm, loss, damage, death, lost profits, personal or business interruptions, misapplication of information, physical or mental disease or condition or issue, or any other type of loss or damage due to any act or default by the owner or anyone acting as our agent, consultant, affiliate, joint venture partner, employee, shareholder, director, staff, team member, or anyone otherwise affiliated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ or its owner, who is engaged in delivering content on or through website associated with or any service provided by Integrative Metabolic Wellness™.
AFFILIATE NOTICE
Within Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy (the Certification Program, Community Group, and otherwise), from time to time, we may endorse various products and/or services that we believe will benefit you in your quest for improving your life and health and/or within your own business. It may be true that the owner of Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ will receive compensation for these endorsements should you choose to purchase said products or services. In fact, in such cases, you should assume that we are affiliated and will be compensated. Please note that we are highly selective and only promote the partners whose programs, products and/or services I respect. At the same time, you agree that any such promotion or marketing does not serve as any form of endorsement whatsoever. You are still required to use your own judgment to determine that any such program, product or service is appropriate for you. You are assuming all risks, and you agree that Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ and its owner is not liable in any way for any program, product or service we may promote, market, share or sell on or through the various sites associated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™. This disclosure is intended to comply with the US Federal Trade Commission Rules on marketing and advertising, as well as any other legal requirements which may apply.
NO REFUNDS
Tuition and/or any other fees associated with Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy are non-refundable due to the nature of the service being provided. As such, please be sure this program is a good fit for you before enrolling. With that being said, this program and its owner strive to guarantee your satisfaction. If you’re dissatisfied with any of the services offered after enrollment, please contact us at hello@integrativemetabolicwellness.com and we will do our best to assist you!
STUDENT COMPLIANCE & RIGHT TO TERMINATION
Students must participate in the Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Community Group (hosted via Mighty Networks) during their time in the Academy as part of their training and education. Participation prompts are included at the end of many lessons, and additional participation is encouraged. Participation within the Community Group and communication with peers is intended to facilitate understanding, learning, encouragement and support among students.
Failure to comply with the terms of the Community Group (including the requirement that students treat their peers and mentors with respect and conduct themselves in a professional manner) can result in restriction of your access to the Community Group and could, in extreme cases and following multiple warnings, result in termination of your student account without refund of tuition.
CERTIFICATION
Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Certification will be issued after the following requirements have been met:
all course material has been completed
participation requirements (via the Community Group) have been met
required reading has been completed with proof submitted
all homework assignments have been completed
written (open book) final has been submitted with passing grade
verbal final has been completed with passing grade
After certification, alumni have the ability to call themselves Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Practitioners.
Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Practitioners will be able to create a practitioner account with our lab partner Evexia Diagnostics, and after establishing such account Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Practitioners will be able to order lab work for themselves and others as a non-licensed practitioner.
The certification does not allow you to call yourself a nutritionist, dietician, medical provider, or any kind of licensed practitioner. Please check local, state, and federal laws for appropriate terminology when speaking about the kind of services you provide.
By using this website and all websites pertaining to Integrative Metabolic Wellness™, you hereby consent to the Program Agreement and agree to all terms, policies, and conditions. Please remember you will be required to sign a copy of this agreement upon enrolling into Integrative Metabolic Wellness™ Academy.
